Apple has just launched the new iPhone 16 range, marking the first time in over a decade that new phones have been unveiled on a Monday. The iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max come with some expected upgrades, including A18 chipsets, improved cameras, a new Camera Control button, and Apple Intelligence.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 range are now open, with the official release date set for September 20th at 1pm BST/8am EDT/5am PDT. The starting prices for the different configurations are as follows:

– iPhone 16: £799/$799 for 128GB, £899/$899 for 256GB, and £1,099/$1,099 for 512GB
– iPhone 16 Plus: £899/$899 for 128GB, £999/$999 for 256GB, and £1,199/$1,199 for 512GB
– iPhone 16 Pro: £999/$999 for 128GB, £1,099/$1,099 for 256GB, £1,299/$1,299 for 512GB, and £1,499/$1,499 for 1TB
– iPhone 16 Pro Max: £1,199/$1,199 for 256GB, £1,399/$1,399 for 512GB, and £1,599/$1,599 for 1TB

The pricing remains consistent with the iPhone 15 range at launch.

For those in the UK looking to pre-order the iPhone 16, various retailers are offering the phones outright, including Apple, Amazon, AO, Argos, Currys, and John Lewis. Contract options are available through Vodafone, EE, O2, Three, Sky Mobile, iD Mobile, and Tesco Mobile. Giffgaff is expected to offer the iPhone 16 once it goes on sale.

In the US, the iPhone 16 range can be pre-ordered outright from Apple, Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. Contract options are available through Boost Mobile, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Boost Mobile.
