Grade: C

Bournemouth: Despite the draw, Bournemouth will feel like they should have won this game considering they generated 1.63 expected goals off of 15 overall shots. They were the more dominant side and controlled the game for large stretches, but were ultimately unable to put the ball in the back of the net enough times to secure all three points. It’s a missed opportunity for the Cherries, who will feel like they let two points slip away on Sunday. Grade: B-

West Ham United vs. Liverpool

Bournemouth managed to salvage a point in their recent match against Fulham, thanks to Dango Ouattara’s late equalizer. The Cherries put up a strong performance, taking 16 shots and putting nine on target. Despite their efforts, they were unable to secure a victory, with Fulham’s Raul Jimenez scoring a goal that was only worth 0.05 expected goals.

While the draw does little to improve Bournemouth’s chances of making it to the UEFA Champions League next season, they can take solace in the fact that they put in a commendable performance. The team remains in a good position based on their overall display on the field.

Moving forward, Bournemouth will need to capitalize on their goal-scoring opportunities and tighten up their defense to secure more wins in the future. With determination and hard work, the Cherries have the potential to achieve success in the upcoming matches.
