Introducing Cosmic Bomber: A New Web3 Action Game by nWay

nWay, a division of Animoca Brands, has recently launched the beta version of Cosmic Bomber, a casual multiplayer action game that combines elements of Bomberman with Web3 technology.

This web and PC game is now part of Mocaverse’s social gamification hub, Cosmic Club. The beta version of Cosmic Bomber is exclusively available to the 1.79 million Moca ID holders. Players can access the beta here. nWay is also known for developing Olympics Go! Paris 2024, the official video game for the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

Gameplay of Cosmic Bomber

Cosmic Bomber is an action-maze game where players strategically place explosive magic balloons to outwit and eliminate rival teams. Players navigate through various blocks to unlock special items and secure victory. The game offers real-time multiplayer competition, digital ownership of unique characters, and an innovative hybrid economy for sustainable earning, spending, and selling.

Leadership Changes at nWay

Following the departure of founder Taehoon Kim, co-CEOs Kristen Salvatore and Steve Kuroki have taken over the reins at nWay. Salvatore and Kuroki are leading the company together, focusing on projects like Cosmic Bomber. Salvatore mentioned that the game is a smaller-scale endeavor compared to the previous Wreck League.

Future Plans for Cosmic Bomber

Cosmic Bomber has been in development for less than a year and targets a casual audience, unlike the more complex Wreck League. The game is free-to-play with monetization through a season pass and potential token offerings. nWay is considering expanding the game to iOS and Android platforms within Web3 guidelines.

Playing Cosmic Bomber

Cosmic Bomber offers real-time player-versus-player competitions, digital character ownership, and a hybrid economy for sustainable in-game transactions. The game runs on dynamic seasons with new content and rewards. Players can compete in special tournaments using loyalty points earned through gameplay.

nWay’s Partnership with Mocaverse

nWay has collaborated with Mocaverse to launch Cosmic Bomber exclusively to Moca ID holders. The game is part of Project Wonder, an ecosystem that integrates various games within a community. Players can enjoy quick, engaging battles in a Bomberman-style game.

Overall, Cosmic Bomber aims to provide a fun and rewarding gaming experience for players of all levels. The game is free to play during the beta phase and will be accessible to all players post-beta.
