The Indian cricket team is gearing up for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and during a recent practice session at the WACA Stadium in Perth, pacer Mohammed Siraj was seen having a light-hearted moment with bowling coach Morne Morkel. The team is leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for the series against Australia, and the coaching staff is closely monitoring the players’ progress.

In a video shared by the BCCI on Instagram, Morne Morkel expressed his satisfaction with how the bowlers have been performing in the practice sessions. He praised the team for adapting well to the conditions and mentioned that they are on track for the upcoming matches. Morkel also highlighted Siraj’s leadership qualities and expressed excitement to see him step up in the senior role during the tour.

Assistant coach Abhishek Nayar shed light on the team’s approach during the match simulations, emphasizing the importance of giving both young and experienced players ample time in the center to understand and adapt to the conditions. With Test cricket returning to Australia after four years, the team is focused on acclimatizing to the challenges posed by the conditions and opposition.

The first Test of the five-match series is scheduled to kick off in Perth on November 22, and Team India is leaving no stone unturned in their quest for success Down Under. The coaching staff, led by head coach Gautam Gambhir and assistant coach Rohit Sharma, is working tirelessly to ensure that the players are well-prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.

As the team continues their preparations, fans are eagerly awaiting the start of the series, hoping to see Team India put up a strong performance against their fierce rivals. With a mix of experienced players and promising youngsters, the Indian team is poised to make a mark in Australian conditions and stake their claim for victory in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
