A poignant story emerged from Texas as a mother claimed her 10-year-old daughter, Taylor Castillo, was the victim of bullying when a group of children allegedly cut her hair while she slept on a school bus. However, the school involved has contradicted this assertion, stating that their investigations revealed no such incident occurred.

Compass Rose Public Schools released a statement indicating that extensive video reviews and discussions with students and staff led them to conclude that the harrowing claims were unfounded. Following this revelation, the girl’s mother recanted her allegations on TikTok, according to the Daily Mail.

“After thoroughly examining hours of footage and interviewing students and staff, we have confirmed that misinformation has been shared,” stated the school on their Facebook page.

“The evidence clearly indicated that there was no bullying or any misconduct by others,” they added.

The mother, Andie Rae Castillo, ignited outrage on social media after posting about the alleged incident on TikTok, declaring, “It’s gone [too f—ing] far now. This is beyond bullying; this is assault,” as reported by the Mail.

“The children are incredibly cruel,” she lamented. “My daughter is the sweetest child. She treats everyone kindly, and I can’t fathom why anyone would act this way towards her.”

She shared an image of her daughter with her hair noticeably cut and expressed her intent to address the issue at the school the following morning.

In a subsequent TikTok video on Tuesday, Andie Castillo maintained her stance, claiming her daughter had endured bullying for the past three years.

“When it involves multiple children, which has been the case with my daughter’s situation, they don’t categorize it as bullying,” she remarked. “They seem to label it as mere teasing, and there’s nothing they can do about it.”

Nevertheless, a spokesperson for Compass Rose Public Schools reiterated to The Post that the mother’s narrative was not supported by their findings.

“There is no record of ongoing bullying over three years. There was a single report concerning a drinking cup, which the administration addressed directly,” the spokesperson explained.

Later, the mother acknowledged that her daughter, who admitted to lying, apologized to those she needed to but chose not to arrange a public apology as requested by the school principal.
