When asked about the most beer he ever drank in one night, Austin recounted a memorable night in Japan with the Dudleyz, Stacy Keibler, and other wrestlers. He mentioned that he threw over 100 beers into the ring that night, creating a chaotic and unforgettable scene.
“It was over in Japan, and I’ve talked about this before, because the Dudleys were there, and Stacy Keibler was there, and there’s a whole bunch of people that were in the ring. So I just started tossing out beers, but I think we went over 100, and this isn’t an Andre story that, but I believe there were 100 beers involved in that. Now, did they all get drank into Completion? No, it was spilled everywhere and thrown here, there, and wherever. But I think that was about the biggest one ever, over in Japan,” Austin shared.
Stone Cold Steve Austin was known for his beer-drinking celebrations in the ring, which became a trademark of his character. Fans still remember his iconic beer bashes and beer baths that became synonymous with his persona.
During the interview, Austin also discussed how the beer celebrations became a part of his WWE character. He credited Sandman for doing it first and explained that it evolved from there. While he wasn’t intentionally copying the ECW legend, Austin admitted that he doesn’t quite remember how or when it all started.
