CWBChicago was established in 2013 by a group of residents from Wrigleyville and Boystown who were dissatisfied with the lack of accurate information provided at local Community Policing meetings. Over the years, our coverage area has expanded to include Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side neighborhoods. Despite our growth, our mission remains the same—to deliver original reporting on public safety issues with depth and context that surpasses traditional media outlets.
