Two Israeli businessmen were tragically found murdered in their homes in the same neighborhood in Los Angeles over the weekend, with one of the victims identified as the brother of a prison warden in Israel. The murders, although unrelated, both took place in the San Fernando Valley inside the victims’ residences.
The first victim, Alexander Modebadze, 47, suffered a brutal death at the hands of three attackers who broke into his home, held him captive for hours, and savagely beat him to death. The crime scene in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, where Modebadze was found murdered, painted a gruesome picture of the heinous act committed. Police later arrested and charged three Georgian nationals – Pata Kochiashvili, Zaza Outarashvili, and Basiki Kutsishvili – in connection with Modebadze’s murder. The suspects are currently being held on a $2 million bail.
On the same day, another Israeli businessman, Meni Hidhra, was discovered murdered in the San Fernando Valley. Hidhra, who was the brother of the warden of Israel’s Nitzan Prison, was the second victim in this tragic series of events. Police have not disclosed many details about Hidhra’s murder, including the cause of death, but they did release photos of a possible suspect – a Hispanic male aged between 30 to 40 years old.
The incidents have shocked the local community and raised concerns about the safety and security of residents in the area. Investigations are ongoing to uncover the motives behind the murders and bring the perpetrators to justice. The Israeli businessmen’s deaths have left a void in their families and communities, highlighting the need for increased vigilance and support for those affected by such senseless acts of violence.
