An airplane incident in Massachusetts has resulted in the deaths of at least two individuals … according to reports from TMZ.
As stated in a press release, state authorities responded to the aircraft crash around 8:15 AM Monday morning on the median of Interstate 195 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
Footage from the scene depicts flames emerging from the wreckage on the highway.
Authorities believe the aircraft may have been approaching New Bedford Regional Airport when the crash occurred.
One individual on the ground sustained injuries; video evidence from the site shows a vehicle in the median that appears to be significantly damaged. This person was taken to the hospital in an undisclosed condition.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been disclosed pending family notifications.
The investigation will be overseen by the Federal Aviation Administration.
