A violent altercation in Albany Park resulted in two men being hospitalized with serious injuries after a knife fight broke out on Friday night. Chicago police were alerted to the incident by 911 calls reporting the injured men in the 3700 block of West Leland. The individuals involved were identified as a 46-year-old and a 40-year-old.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the older man walking on the sidewalk with multiple lacerations on his body. He was subsequently taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and was reported to be in fair condition. The second man, who was also discovered nearby with multiple lacerations, was in critical condition and was also transported to Masonic for treatment.
