2 SPL giants want to sign Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr from Real Madrid in the summer: Reports

Saudi Pro League clubs Al Hilal and Al Ahli are reportedly set to make a bold move to sign Real Madrid’s Brazilian stars, Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Jr. According to a report from GeGlobo, these Saudi clubs are eager to bring the talented forwards to the Middle East during the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, it seems that Real Madrid is not keen on parting ways with their prized assets. Club president Florentino Perez has made it clear that he has no intentions of selling the best players in the squad. Even manager Carlo Ancelotti has affirmed this stance, stating in an interview with ESPN that the players are happy at the club and are focused on making history with Real Madrid.

Al Hilal, who recently terminated Neymar’s contract, sees Rodrygo as an ideal replacement and is prepared to make a bid for the young star. On the other hand, Al Ahli is looking to bolster their attacking options by targeting Vinicius Jr. Despite already having the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Roberto Firmino in their squad, the club believes that adding Vinicius Jr could further strengthen their attack.

In a surprising turn of events, journalist Ben Jacobs revealed in an interview with GiveMeSport that Al Ahli is gearing up to make a staggering €350 million offer for Vinicius Jr. While this bid falls short of the Brazilian’s €1 billion release clause, it would still be a record-breaking transfer if successful. Jacobs mentioned that talks have already begun with the player’s representatives, and the Saudi club is willing to make a significant investment to secure Vinicius Jr’s services.

Despite the lucrative offer on the table, Vinicius Jr has reiterated his commitment to Real Madrid, stating that he intends to stay at the club for the remainder of his career. With a contract running until 2027, the Brazilian forward seems content with his current situation at the Spanish giants.

It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds in the upcoming transfer window, but it is evident that Saudi Pro League clubs are eager to make a statement by pursuing top talents like Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Jr. Their ambitious bids could potentially shake up the transfer market and redefine the landscape of football in the Middle East.
