Anthony Henry, a promising star in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), has been out of action for some time due to a bicep injury he sustained during a match against Gabe Kidd in October 2024. Henry made his AEW debut in 2021 on an episode of Dark, where he impressed Tony Khan enough to earn a contract offer. Since then, he has been regularly featured on AEW TV and Ring of Honor (ROH).

In a recent interview on AEW Unrestricted, Anthony Henry opened up about the challenges he faced in 2024 due to his injury. He mentioned that it was the first time in his 22-year career that he had experienced a substantial injury. Reflecting on the moment he tore his bicep off the bone during the match, Henry described it as a clean pop but noted that he didn’t feel any pain at the time.

Despite being sidelined for a while, Anthony Henry is making progress towards his return to the ring. He shared in the interview that he had recently stepped back into the ring for some chain wrestling and felt fine during the session. Henry expressed confidence that if he were cleared to compete, he would be ready to return to action.

Fans of Anthony Henry will be pleased to hear that his comeback may not be far off, with the wrestler indicating that he is getting back into training and preparing for his return to the squared circle. It will be interesting to see when he will be officially cleared to make his comeback and resume his promising career in AEW and ROH.
