The 31st Critics Choice Awards are just around the corner, shining a spotlight on the best in film and television from the past year. This prestigious event kicks off the award season in Hollywood, leading up to the grand finale at the Oscars in March.

Taking place on Sunday, January 4, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, the 31st Critics Choice Awards will be broadcast live on E! and USA Network from 7–10 p.m. ET. Hosted by the talented Chelsea Handler for the fourth consecutive year, the ceremony promises to be a night to remember.

In the film category, standout nominees include “Sinners,” “One Battle After Another,” “Hamnet,” “Frankenstein,” and “Marty Supreme,” leading the pack with multiple nominations. On the television side, “Adolescence,” “Nobody Wants This,” “All Her Fault,” and “Ghosts” are among the most-nominated series.

The film nominations feature a diverse range of categories, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, and more. Some of the top contenders in the film category include Timothée Chalamet for “Marty Supreme,” Leonardo DiCaprio for “One Battle After Another,” and Jessie Buckley for “Hamnet.”

In the television category, drama series like “Alien: Earth,” “Andor,” and “Severance” are vying for top honors. Acting heavyweights such as Sterling K. Brown, Kathy Bates, and Adam Brody are in the running for awards in their respective categories.

The Critics Choice Awards also recognize excellence in other areas such as Best Animated Feature, Best Comedy, Best Foreign Language Film, Best Score, and more. With a diverse range of nominees and categories, the 31st Critics Choice Awards are sure to be a thrilling celebration of talent and creativity in the entertainment industry.
