A 26-year-old male snowboarder has gone missing since Friday afternoon while on Vail Mountain.
The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office informed the Vail Communication Center about the man’s disappearance at 4:30 p.m. on February 14, as mentioned in a Facebook post. The man was reported missing when he did not return on time.
Efforts were made by Vail Mountain Rescue and Vail Ski Patrol to search his last known location and common routes he frequented.
He was last spotted wearing an orange ski suit with blue accents on top and a gray helmet, riding a Salomon snowboard.
The search is still ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact Vail Dispatch at 970-479-2201.
