‘Die Hard’ (1988)

Bruce Willis stars as an everyday man faced with extraordinary challenges in this action film classic, often regarded as a holiday favorite. Detective John McLane (Willis) is determined to reconnect with his estranged wife during her office Christmas party, but when terrorists seize control of the building, his plans take a dangerous turn. With the LAPD unable to help, McLane is left to confront the threat alone.

Die Hard is so iconic that its title has entered the cultural lexicon; you may feel as if you’ve already seen it from all the chatter it receives. Its legendary status is well-deserved. Packed with humor, suspense, and nail-biting tension, this film showcases Willis in his prime and is a masterclass of technical filmmaking.

‘Barbarian’ (2022)

Tess (Georgina Campbell) arrives at her Airbnb in a sketchy Detroit neighborhood to discover that another guest, Keith (Bill Skarsgård) is already staying there.
