As the fourth weekend of March 2026 approaches, Watch With Us is eagerly anticipating a chance to explore some overlooked Netflix shows.
While many are tuning into Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen and Virgin River, we are excited to delve into Netflixâs hidden-gem TV series.
Here, we spotlight three outstanding shows on the platform that may have slipped your mind or escaped your notice entirely.
Our top recommendation is Godless, a neo-Western miniseries featuring Sinnersâ star Jack OâConnell.

âGodlessâ (2017)
Set in 1884 New Mexico, the story follows notorious outlaw Frank Griffin (Jeff Daniels) and his gang as they seek revenge on Roy Goode (OâConnell), a former protege who betrayed them. Fleeing from danger, Roy finds sanctuary in La Belle, NM, a mining town run predominantly by women, where he is sheltered by Alice Fletcher (Michelle Dockery). When news spreads of Frankâs plan to attack La Belle, Alice and the townspeople unite to defend their home against the relentless gang.
Godless distinguishes itself by transforming the traditionally male-centric Western genre into a narrative led by a female ensemble. The series captivates viewers with its impressive production design and mesmerizing cinematography, drawing them into its world. The engaging storyline and intricate plot, combined with standout performances from Daniels, Dockery, and Merritt Wever, make Godless a must-watch.
âMindhunterâ (2017-2019)
During the late 1970s, as criminal psychology and profiling began to develop, the FBI sought to understand the minds of serial killers to solve ongoing cases. Agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), along with psychologist Wendy Carr (Anna Torv), operate the Behavioral Science Unit at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. In its first season, they interview infamous serial killers Edmund Kemper (Cameron Britton) and the BTK Killer (Sonny Valicenti), with the second season focusing on Charles Manson (Damon Herriman).
Despite its short lifespan, Mindhunter garnered critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. However, Netflix discontinued the series after just two seasons. Still, the crime drama, executive produced and partially directed by David Fincher, remains a standout for its compelling storytelling, intense character development, and distinctive filmmaking style.
âBodyguardâ (2018)
David Budd (Rocketmanâs Richard Madden), a British Army war veteran, now works as a police sergeant in London. He is assigned to protect the Home Secretary, Julia Montague (Keeley Hawes), a controversial political figure whose ambitions are labeled as âsociopathicâ by her inner circle. While privately dealing with PTSD from his wartime experience, David struggles with his duty and personal morals as tensions rise with his new assignment.
Bodyguard is an enthralling psychological thriller featuring outstanding performances by Madden and Hawes. The series masterfully combines political intrigue with intricate character dynamics. As the tension escalates, the fast-paced plot makes it an ideal binge-watch. Ultimately, Bodyguard offers a compelling examination of power and gender dynamics, balancing thrilling action with grounded realism.
