The upcoming edition of The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art, promises to be a captivating event for art enthusiasts in Los Angeles. Scheduled from February 20 to 23, this 13th edition coincides with L.A. Art Week for the first time and will take place at a new venue on the east side of town – 2800 Casitas Avenue in Atwater Village.

Featuring a diverse lineup of 140 independent artists at the forefront of contemporary art, this spring edition will showcase a range of unique and compelling artworks. Notable highlights include a monumental mural depicting the 1968 East L.A. Student Walkouts by acclaimed artist Judy Baca, stylized portrait sessions by artist Anna Marie Tendler, and larger-than-life projects by local talents such as Misha Libertee, Mary Lai, and Feia Studio’s Thomas Martinez Pilnik and Jake Cavallo.

In addition to visual art, The Other Art Fair promises a multi-sensory experience for attendees. From live performances by Secret Circus LA and DJ Salty on Opening Night to DJ Phatrick’s energetic set for the Friday Late party, the fair offers a dynamic and interactive environment. Furthermore, the fair will donate 100% of ticket proceeds from the Friday Late party to L.A. fire relief efforts, showing its commitment to supporting the local community.

Among the must-see artists handpicked by Global Fair Director Nicole Garton are Kiara Aileen Machado, whose vibrant paintings explore themes of identity and migration, and Jess Lin, whose art blends nostalgia with whimsy. Mark Rebennack mesmerizes with his wave-like patterns drawn to the length of a single breath, while sculptor Nick Lopez translates contemporary observations into striking visual forms. Anna Shipulina’s hand-built ceramics reflect the fluidity of nature and the human body, exuding raw elegance and tactile beauty.
