50 Cent is opening up about his experiences as a father, revealing details about his youngest son.
“[My youngest son Sire] is incredibly sheltered,” the rapper shared exclusively with Us Weekly while promoting his latest true-crime series 50 Ways to Catch a Killer airing on Fox Nation. “He just turned 13, but he’s quite a young 13. Heās unaware that his mom once dated Puffy. These are matters I have to consider for the future.ā
<p Curtis Jackson, famously known as 50 Cent, shares Sire with his former partner, Daphne Joy Narvaez. The couple welcomed their son in September 2012, and he also has a 28-year-old son, Marquise Jackson, with another ex, Shaniqua Tompkins.
As Sire transitions from childhood to his teenage years, 50 understands that he will encounter both the benefits and challenges of having a renowned father.
“I remain aware because he will inevitably encounter this information. There are advantages to being the son of ’50 Cent’, but there are also pitfalls that can be leveraged against you,ā he explained to Us.

As Sire matures, 50 hopes he develops resilience to cope with public scrutiny.
“I need to ensure he has a tough enough exterior to handle whatever comes his way,ā he shared.
This autumn, 50 has the opportunity to lead Fox Nationās new six-part true-crime series, 50 Ways to Catch a Killer.
Viewers will get an in-depth look at captivating murder investigations and follow the efforts of law enforcement striving to achieve justice.

In his dual role as host and producer, 50 noted that he was particularly intrigued by law enforcementās investigative methods.
“Some aspects rely on gut feelings, while others involve clues or forensic evidence that guide you. Watching these elements come together is really what captures my interest,ā he explained.
Although it’s uncertain whether Sire will follow in his father’s footsteps in the entertainment industry, 50 believes that discipline and focus are key to success and hopes to instill these values in his son, no matter his future path.
“Discipline often begins with early choices, such as selecting sports or activities, and maintaining a routine,ā he elaborated. “What truly distinguishes us is our enthusiasm. We should allow them to follow their interests.ā
50 further remarked, “There are individuals who seem to effortlessly excel thanks to their inherent talent, while others must put in significant effort to achieve success.ā
