He’s been “Impatiently Waiting” for this moment.
Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is reveling in his rival’s recent misfortune following Sean “Diddy” Combs’ 50-month sentencing handed down on Friday — taking jabs at his long-time foe who will be serving time.
“Hey to whoever was arranging Diddy’s speaking engagements. I heard he won’t be available,” the Queens artist tweeted on X, accompanied by a shrug emoji.
“I’m open for bookings!” Jackson added, punctuating his comment with a laughing emoji.
The playful post featured a courtroom sketch of the artist formerly known as “Puff Daddy” alongside a cropped image of Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo.
This jab was aimed at Combs’ overzealous planning for upcoming speaking gigs set for the next week while expecting an early release.
50 Cent was not short on quips the previous day, posting a lengthy message to the judge overseeing Combs’ case.
“I’ve had a long-standing conflict with Puffy for over two decades. He is quite a threat. I have feared for my life on multiple occasions,” said the man who famously survived being shot nine times in 2000,he wrote to the judge on X.
After a segment of seemingly serious warnings and taunts, the “Many Men” artist landed a knockout line.
“In any case, Diddy will just come back to hiring more male sex workers and ensuring baby oil is kept away from the public – and babies need that!”
The rivalry between the two rappers dates back to at least 2005, with Jackson previously releasing a diss track “The Bomb” aimed at Diddy.
“I suppose this means I’m not getting invited to the Hamptons white parties!” 50 Cent quipped in reference to a 2007 track.
