The Mariners took to X to announce they invited the kind-hearted fan who first caught the ball to T-Mobile Park for a heartfelt thank-you, recognizing his generous spirit in giving the ball to a young boy.

Raleigh met with the fortunate fan, identified as Glenn Mutti-Driscoll, a hydrogeologist by profession, and shared a memorable moment on the field where he surprised Glenn with a signed bat.

Raleigh’s signature on the bat wished, “Glenn, thanks for being a good guy & nice catch!”

Moreover, Raleigh took the time to pose for photographs with Mutti-Driscoll and his family before heading back to help secure a Mariners win against the Rockies that very evening.

Meanwhile, the young boy, the recipient of the legendary ball, also received some Mariners merchandise as part of this charming exchange.

According to an update from the boy’s father, Galan Ruelos, the Mariners exchanged an autographed Raleigh bat for the historic ball.
