The star of “Wicked,” Ariana Grande, is taking aim at supporters of President Trump.

The 32-year-old singer and actress shared a post from podcast host Matt Bernstein, known as “A Bit Fruity,” on Instagram over the weekend. The post criticized the more than 77 million individuals who voted for Trump, aged 79, against former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.

The reshare included a pointed question for Trump voters: “It’s been 250 days. Now that immigrants have been forcefully separated from their families and that communities have been devastated; now that transgender individuals have been scapegoated and live in fear; now that free speech seems threatened for everyone—has your life improved?”

The post emphasized further: “Have your grocery bills gone down? Is your health insurance more affordable? Has your work-life balance seen any improvement? Are you able to vacation? Do you feel happiness? Has the suffering of others benefited you as promised, or are you still in waiting?”

Grande’s politically charged message triggered backlash across X.

One Trump supporter responded, “Ignorance is bliss in the privileged bubble.” Tweeted another, “The suffering you’re talking about is just a perception. Neighborhoods are getting safer. Stick to music, not politics!”

A different voice chimed in, “Celebrities think anyone cares about their views. Newsflash: Nobody cares! She’s just another sheep like most of them!” said.

Another Trump supporter exclaimed, “WHO cares what Ariana Grande thinks? I’m THRILLED about my vote!”

Grande had expressed her backing for Kamala Harris, 60, over Trump during the previous electoral cycle.

In October 2024, the “Eternal Sunshine” artist confirmed her vote for Harris via Florida’s early voting initiative.

She also posted a selfie on her Instagram Stories featuring Beyoncé’s song “Freedom,” adorned with a sticker stating “Your Vote Matters.”

In a prior message, Grande had shared a post from President Joe Biden endorsing Harris when he withdrew from the race, which he posted on Instagram.

About two months post-election, Grande subtly shaded fellow singer Carrie Underwood for performing at Trump’s inauguration in January.

The Grammy Award-winning artist “liked” a post by internet figure Evan Ross Katz, which included an image of Underwood, 42, singing “America the Beautiful” a cappella while Harris looked less than impressed.

Katz’s caption included a reference to a quote from “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” humorously suggesting Harris was recalling Coco Montrese’s advice: “Girl, find the note.”

Grande has yet to expand on her criticism of Underwood.
