Donald Trump Says There Are 2 'N-Words' You Can't Use

Donald Trump took the stage on Tuesday amidst a gathering of U.S. military leaders from across the globe. His speech, a curious blend of self-aggrandizement and grievances, took a bewildering turn when he asserted that there are actually two “N-words” that should never be uttered.

During his address, Trump wove between boasting and railing against various figures and institutions. At one juncture, he spoke about the formidable might of the U.S. nuclear arsenal, framing it as a tool of deterrence against powers like Russia, declaring he had made it clear that the U.S. could decimate significant targets if necessary.

Seemingly, he argued that such nuclear threats should not be casually invoked because it is irresponsible. He elaborated, “We can’t just go around using that word. I refer to it as the ‘N’ word. There are two ‘N-words,’ and they are both off-limits.”

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Trump has navigated this minefield of language; he made similar comments at rallies as far back as 2022 and again in a 2023 FOX News interview, not to mention the echoes of his remarks on Truth Social earlier this year.

Trump’s discourse was littered with mentions of autopens and his usual favorite target: Biden, his administration, and, well, more Biden.
