“Of the eight occupants in the Jeep, three were declared dead at the scene. The other occupants were airlifted and transported to hospitals, with some in critical condition,” police disclosed via a statement on Facebook on September 27. “The semi-truck driver and a passenger sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. The driver has since been arrested, with an investigation underway to determine formal charges.”
