The Mediapro Studio, Telemundo Studios Forge Strategic Alliance for U.S. Hispanic Content

In a significant move indicative of the growing need for narratives centered on Latino experiences, The Mediapro Studio in the U.S. and Canada, alongside Telemundo Studios, has announced a strategic partnership aimed at the development and production of original films tailored for Hispanic audiences both in the U.S. and across the globe.

This agreement builds upon an existing relationship that features the upcoming film “Atrápelo quien pueda” and establishes a foundation for an enduring partnership between two significant entities in international production and Spanish-language entertainment. 

The collaboration aims to provide a continuous stream of films that echo the voices, cultures, and aspirations of Hispanic communities worldwide.

This agreement leverages The Mediapro’s impressive history of successful global projects such as ‘The Head,’ “Iosi, the Regretful Spy,” “Las Bravas” Season 2, “Consuelo” Season 2, “Intercambiadas,” and the popular Mexican film “Mesa de regalos,” while melding it with Telemundo’s extensive production expertise and its reach within broadcast, pay TV, and streaming platforms. 

Together, both organizations are strategically positioning themselves to engage a rapidly expanding demographic that is essential to the U.S. media environment.

The partnership is set to kick off with a range of projects already in the pipeline, with more announcements on the horizon in the upcoming months.
