Keith Urban is showing that the performance must continue.
The country music icon was seen in public for the first time since Nicole Kidman initiated divorce proceedings on Tuesday, September 30.
Photos acquired by TMZ on Thursday, October 2 reveal Urban, 57, arriving in Hershey, Pennsylvania, after a flight on a private jet.
The “One Too Many” artist donned a gray jacket, a black t-shirt, and a black baseball cap. Notably, he was not wearing his wedding ring as he carried a leather duffel to a Ford Expedition.
Urban is set to take the stage at the Giant Center later that evening during his High and Alive Tour. Additionally, he has performances lined up for this weekend in Virginia and Connecticut.
An insider confirmed to Us Weekly on Monday, September 29, that Kidman, 58, and Urban had officially split after 19 years of marriage.
The following day, the Big Little Lies star filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind the separation.
As stated in legal documents acquired by Us, Kidman has sought to be designated the “primary residential parent” for her and Urban’s children, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.

In conjunction with the divorce filing, Kidman has proposed a marital dissolution agreement, signed by both her and Urban. This agreement includes a parenting plan, child support arrangements, and a “parenting seminar order.”
Both parties have waived their rights to spousal and child support, although a clause in the documents indicates that the country musician has “prepaid all child support obligations.”
While the couple’s separation may have surprised some fans, there were indications of underlying issues.
The pair was last seen publicly at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 game in Nashville last June.
In the same month, Kidman celebrated her 19th wedding anniversary with a heartfelt message on Instagram, saying, “Happy Anniversary Baby ❤️ @KeithUrban.” Urban opted not to post on his main profile but instead commented with a red heart emoji.
A well-informed Nashville source mentioned that Kidman and Urban had been “quietly separated for a while.”
At the same time, Kidman was optimistic that their marriage would not culminate in a divorce.
“This wasn’t Nicole’s decision, and she is heartbroken,” an insider shared with Us. “Her trust was eroded, and the situation became untenable. Nicole tried to salvage their marriage and didn’t wish for this to be made public. She kept this struggle private for months.”
Behind the scenes, the source revealed that both had been spending “a lot of time apart due to their careers,” resulting in them living “separate lives.”
“Nicole and Keith were not aligned,” the insider explained. “There were whispers that they were living separately and concentrating on individual projects, with hints that Keith might have moved on. Their lives are diverging, and they no longer share the same world as they once did.”
