WASHINGTON — On Friday, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth reported that the United States military conducted a strike off the coast of Venezuela, resulting in the deaths of four individuals identified as alleged “narco-terrorists” involved in drug trafficking.

The military operation targeted a vessel linked to designated terrorist organizations, leading to the elimination of four individuals who were allegedly “transporting significant amounts of narcotics aimed at the American public,” Hegseth stated via X.

“Our intelligence unequivocally established that this vessel was trafficking narcotics. The individuals onboard were classified as narco-terrorists, operating on a known narcotics transit route,” asserted the secretary.

The vessel was reportedly “carrying enough drugs to potentially kill between 25,000 and 50,000” individuals, as stated by the White House in a post on X.

“BE WARNED!” the ominous statement cautioned.

The strike on Friday marks at least the fifth successful operation targeting drug cartels since September 2, raising the total count of individuals killed in these military actions to 24.

President Trump mentioned in a speech at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia on Monday that he had taken down four vessels allegedly involved in Venezuelan drug smuggling operations in the Caribbean.

“If you attempt to poison our people, we will obliterate you,” Trump declared. “That is the only language they understand. Hence, you no longer see boats in our waters.”
