Diddy‘s legal team is portraying him as a devoted father and community leader ahead of his sentencing … with an emotionally charged video intended to reinforce that message.
The defense has released a poignant nearly 12-minute video that has already been submitted in court … commencing with scenes of Diddy engaged with his children — gently speaking to his twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie.
The footage transitions to highlight his philanthropic endeavors … featuring moments from events in which he opens schools, addresses graduating students, and distributes significant donations to enthusiastic students.
The video includes a segment about the passing of Kim Porter … showing the family’s emotional responses following her death — notably, Diddy expresses his commitment to being a “full-time dad” and vows to support his daughters through every challenge.
The montage wraps up with tender moments between Diddy and his children, which is sure to evoke strong emotions in the courtroom during its upcoming presentation. While we have edited the video, the full version is available online … making it a worthwhile watch.
Diddy is requesting Judge Arun Subramanian to impose a sentence of 14 months in prison — taking into account the time he has already served over the past year at MDC Brooklyn. In contrast, prosecutors are recommending that the mogul serve 11 years.
He also submitted a letter to the judge requesting leniency … acknowledging the pain he has caused and highlighting his responsibilities as a father and caregiver to his mother in hopes of influencing the judge’s decision.
The sentencing hearing is set to commence at 7 AM PT … be sure to check our livestream for live updates.
