Diddy’s Defense Claims Man Tried to Shank Him in Jail, Alleged Attack Thwarted

Diddy‘s legal team has made shocking claims during his sentencing hearing, stating that he was nearly attacked with a homemade knife while being held at Brooklyn’s jail facility.

Attorney Brian Steel disclosed that Diddy may be under threat at MDC Brooklyn, as certain inmates could gain notoriety by harming him. He reported that a jail officer intervened before a man could use a shank on Diddy.

Diddy has been incarcerated at the detention center since his arrest in September 2024, sharing a space with 24 other inmates amidst ongoing violence and drug abuse. Steel asserted that Diddy is struggling, managing barely two hours of sleep at a time and subsisting on bags of chips.

Steel also mentioned that Diddy was willing to plead guilty to the Mann Act violations for which he was convicted; however, he claims the prosecution did not present him with that option. While Diddy faced charges related to racketeering and sex trafficking, the jury ultimately cleared him of those accusations.
