Attorney Claims Kyren Lacy Wasn’t Near Fatal Car Crash

Kyren Lacy‘s attorney asserts that his client was not involved in the car incident reported by police, and he has surveillance footage and evidence from the local district attorney’s office to back this claim.
In an interview with regional news outlet HTV 10, Lacy’s lawyer, Matt Ory, presented video evidence showing the LSU wide receiver’s bright green Dodge Charger.
Ory released footage depicting one vehicle colliding with another, which he identifies as the incident involving Herman Hall, the 78-year-old who tragically lost his life in the collision.
According to Ory, Lacy’s Charger drove past the scene of the crash without making contact with any vehicles.
Ory stated that Lacy was measured to be “72.6 yards behind the vehicles at the moment of impact. The key point is behind the vehicles. This has never been represented accurately.”
It’s worth noting that Kyren was a highly regarded football talent, drawing attention from multiple NFL teams ahead of the 2025 Draft, when authorities issued an arrest warrant for him on a charge of negligent homicide.
Tragically, in April, just weeks before the NFL Draft, Lacy passed away from what authorities believe to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound following an alleged altercation with a family member.
