Before investing in shares of Meta Platforms, consider the following:
The Motley Fool Stock Advisor analyst team recently pinpointed what they believe are the 10 best stocks that investors should consider purchasing now… and Meta Platforms didn’t make the list. The ten selected stocks have the potential for significant returns in the future.
For instance, when Netflix was featured on this list on December 17, 2004… if you had invested $1,000 at that time, it would be worth $626,942! Or consider Nvidia, which joined the list on April 15, 2005… a $1,000 investment back then would have grown to $1,157,870!
It’s important to highlight that Stock Advisor boasts an average return of 1,063% — far surpassing the S&P 500’s return of 191%. Stay in the loop for the latest top 10 list when you sign up for Stock Advisor.

Travis Hoium: What are the hidden opportunities available in the stock market, especially regarding artificial intelligence? Let’s kick off this edition of Motley Fool Money.
Welcome to Motley Fool Money. I’m Travis Hoium, joined by Lou Whiteman and Jon Quast. We undoubtedly need to discuss artificial intelligence to start, but instead of diving into the typical topics like Oracle‘s partnership with OpenAI or the current happenings at Google, let’s explore deeper issues. My query to you both is: what promising aspects in artificial intelligence should investors be aware of beyond the prominent names like NVIDIA?
Jon Quast: Travis, I prefer exploring opportunities that aren’t in the limelight. I find the underlying trends in the artificial intelligence sector to be more compelling. Interestingly, energy is catching my eye right now, which is unusual for me since I typically seek flashier investments. But according to the US Energy Information Administration, energy sector growth was merely 2% annually from 1990 to 2005. For the subsequent 15 years, growth stagnated. However, we are sliding back into a resurgence, reminiscent of the growth trends of the 1990s in electricity.
