Bryan Kohberger appears to be deeply troubled by his bleak existence in an Idaho prison, which is now his home for life.

TMZ has acquired official documentation from the Idaho Department of Correction (IDOC) that reveals Kohberger’s daily routines and concerns in prison — and they come off as disturbingly mundane.

For instance, Kohberger — who pleaded guilty to brutally stabbing four University of Idaho students — has submitted three “Resident Concern Forms” to the Iowa Maximum Security Institution within the past few months.

On July 27, he informed staff that he couldn’t access JPay — the system used to add money to an inmate’s trust account so he could order items from the commissary — which is a critical task since he remains largely in his cell.

A correctional officer replied, noting that setting up JPay takes time after transferring to a new facility. Kohberger had been moved from county jail to state prison around July 25 following his sentencing to four life terms without parole.

The monotonous routine continued for Kohberger on August 13 as he filled out another “Concern” form detailing that a supply request he made hadn’t been fulfilled. A staff member informed him that supply requests are usually processed on Sundays. How tedious.

On August 18, he wrote a thank-you note to a Sgt. Martin expressing gratitude for the printouts and bubble sheets for commissary, and he noted that his JPay issues were resolved as he could finally access the system.

As if the boredom weren’t enough, Kohberger’s situation becomes increasingly grim as he is housed in a restrictive unit, confined to a single cell and transported in restraints, as per IDOC guidelines.

Prison authorities have clarified that the 30-year-old Kohberger is permitted to shower every other day and has one hour of outdoor recreation each day.

It’s a bleak existence.
