Bad Bunny made a lively and comedic return to “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend, directly addressing those who have criticized his selection for the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The celebrated artist embraced the buzz surrounding his landmark halftime performance, opting to humorously mock the backlash regarding his upcoming stint at the iconic event.

“You may not be aware, but I’m set to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show,” he announced to an enthusiastic crowd. “And I couldn’t be happier, and I believe everyone else feels the same … even Fox News!”

The audience roared as SNL showcased a cleverly edited montage of various Fox News commentators appearing to proclaim, “Bad Bunny is my top artist and he should be our next president.”

Transitioning from humor to heartfelt sentiment, Bad Bunny switched to Spanish, conveying a powerful message about what his halftime performance signifies for Latino communities across the nation. “This isn’t just a victory for me, it’s a victory for all of us,” he shared. “Our legacy and contributions here will never be forgotten.”

He concluded his monologue with … “And if you didn’t catch what I just said … you have four months to figure it out!”

Earlier in the show, viewers were treated to a special moment – a video of Jon Hamm (or as Bunny humorously referred to him, “Juan Jamón”) dancing to his songs, culminating in shots of the “Mad Men” star seated in the audience.

The episode’s opening skit featured Colin Jost as U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, with James Austin Johnson reprising his role as Donald Trump, mockingly stating that he was “keeping an eye on SNL” to ensure they didn’t go too hard on him.
