Recently released by the NYPD, a new sketch illustrates the 11-year-old autistic boy who has gone missing from his Brooklyn home. Disturbingly, law enforcement sources indicate that the boy’s mother has denied the very existence of her child.

The drawing, made public by the NYPD on Saturday night, features Jacob Pritchett, who was living with his mother in an apartment situated on Howard Avenue close to East New York Avenue in Brownsville, according to the latest reports.

This update comes just days after law enforcement and ACS representatives visited the residence on Wednesday, as noted by the sources.

When police inquired about her son, the boy’s mother reacted angrily, claiming she had never had a child and lives alone, as reported by sources.

Following this, detectives employed a K9 unit to search the apartment. The dog indicated the presence of human blood near or around the refrigerator, according to the sources.

However, the boy was still unaccounted for, law enforcement confirmed.

On Wednesday, Jacob’s mother was taken to a hospital as an “emotionally disturbed person,” but she has not yet faced any criminal charges, the sources clarified.

The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) first visited the apartment on September 25, where the mother allegedly refused to provide the boy’s birth certificate, sources stated.

The ACS visit followed reports from neighbors who hadn’t seen the boy for nearly two months, according to the sources.

During their search, the caseworkers could not find any evidence indicating that the boy lived there at the time, the sources mentioned.

As of Monday, no further updates on Jacob’s condition or location were available.

Jacob is described as a boy with medium skin tone, brown eyes, and black hair.

Since he is nonverbal, he is unable to provide any identifying details, according to police.

Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish speakers, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
