NBA Hall of Famer Dwight Howard has officially joined forces with Innovative Artists Entertainment for his representation needs.
Despite this new partnership, Howard will continue to work with The Gym Agency. His manager and business partner, Mujaahid Abdul-Baasit, plays an active role in various projects with Howard, including their Out of the Box production and media venture.
A standout in professional basketball, Howard has been selected as an NBA All-Star eight times and has made the All NBA Team also eight times. Heâs a five-time member of the All Defensive Team and has earned the title of defensive player of the year three times. His journey began in 2004 when he was the first overall pick in the NBA Draft, chosen by the Orlando Magic.
Over his career, he spent eight seasons with the Magic and later played with notable franchises such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, and Philadelphia 76ers.
In addition to his NBA legacy, Howard was part of the gold medal-winning U.S. menâs basketball team during the 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing, sharing the court with legends like Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade.
Beyond the basketball court, Howard has made guest appearances in popular television series such as âBlack-ishâ on ABC, âNever Have I Everâ on Netflix, and âThe Odd Coupleâ on CBS. He has also had roles in films including âThe Equalizer 2,â featuring Denzel Washington, and âJust Wright,â alongside Queen Latifah and Common.
