Mark Sanchez was seen visibly distressed after a stabbing incident in Indianapolis that occurred on Saturday, with surveillance footage revealing the former NFL quarterback in a bloodied state, clutching his torso and struggling to walk.
The 38-year-old ex-New York Jets quarterback was recorded on video at approximately 12:30 AM following the confrontation that led to his being hospitalized due to several stab wounds.

The video, sourced from the NY Post, depicts Sanchez struggling as he turns to walk down a sidewalk.
His polo shirt bore a large blood stain on the right side, and he was seen touching the area while leaning over before exiting the frame.

According to the delivery driver involved, Sanchez initiated a dispute regarding the position of his parked truck, leading to an altercation. The 69-year-old driver claimed he felt threatened and used a knife in self-defense.

The delivery driver sustained a “serious laceration” on the side of his face that penetrated through his cheek, while Sanchez was reported to have multiple stab wounds.

Sanchez initially faced three misdemeanor charges — battery resulting in injury, public intoxication, and unlawful entry into a vehicle — however, it was announced that he is now also facing a felony charge for battery related to serious bodily injury, which could result in up to six years in prison.
As of now, Sanchez has not publicly commented on the situation, stating to law enforcement that he had little recollection of the event.
