‘RHOM’ Star Todd Nepola
Files Defamation Lawsuit Against NBC/Bravo
Published October 7, 2025, 9:11 AM PDT
Todd Nepola, a prominent figure from “Real Housewives of Miami,” has initiated legal action against Bravo and NBCUniversal, alleging that they fabricated details regarding his financial situation to enhance the narrative surrounding his ex-wife, Alexia Nepola, during Seasons 6 and 7.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Todd — who asserts his net worth to be $100 million — claims he has never bounced a check, failed to make a payment, or encountered any financial issues. Allegations from ‘RHOM’ reportedly depicted him as financially unstable, allegedly to amplify Alexia’s storyline for the audience.
The lawsuit highlights specific episodes where cast member Adriana de Moura allegedly circulated false information about Todd, claiming his business was failing and that he might need to downgrade to a less expensive apartment.
According to Todd’s legal team, these statements were entirely false and knowingly propagated by Bravo.
Todd emphasizes that he invested over $115 million in real estate while the show was being filmed, using reputable bank loans, refuting any insinuation of improper conduct. The lawsuit charges that Bravo and NBCUniversal were aware, or should have been aware, that the financial misrepresentations were unfounded, and Todd seeks to rectify his reputation in court.
We have reached out to NBCUniversal for their response, but have yet to receive any comments.
