Influencer Sami Clarke and her estranged partner, JT Barnett, have listed their residence for sale after their recent separation.
Us Weekly has confirmed that the couple’s property was listed on Monday, October 6, at a price of $1.39 million. This beautiful home features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is nestled on nearly three acres in Austin, Texas.
Just months after getting married in 2024, Clarke disclosed in April that she and Barnett had purchased the property, which boasts an expansive lawn, mature trees, and a charming creek.
“Well… WE BOUGHT OUR FIRST PROPERTY IN AUSTIN, TEXAS! 🥹😆🤠,” Clarke excitedly shared on Instagram at the time, along with stunning pictures of their new home. “This was a lovely surprise for JT & I! We were open to whatever came next. We decided to focus on Austin since we’ve been spending so much time there with JT’s family and my second family, @samispalter and @andrewspalter.”
Clarke elaborated, “JT discovered this quaint town just ten minutes from downtown, and we decided to explore it for fun. Upon visiting this property, I felt an undeniable connection. The oak trees seemed to be calling to me, and visions of our future on this land began to unfold. We knew we had to make it ours, even without a clear plan—it felt like destiny! This property is a complete renovation project, featuring three acres of paradise that allows us to dream and create.”
She expressed her excitement, stating that she “couldn’t be happier” while also navigating the mix of emotions that come with change and moving into a new phase of life.
“LA has been my home for 12 years!” she wrote. “I know it will always hold a special place in my heart, and while there’s no clear next step here, I am eager to see what life has in store for us! Can’t wait to share the journey with you all! 🥹♥️🫂🦋.”
Just five months later, Clarke announced that she and Barnett had decided to separate.
Clarke shared her emotions on Instagram, stating, “My life is transforming, and I’m heading into a new beginning without JT. It’s truly difficult to articulate the sadness I feel, but I trust this is the right choice for me. I am deeply thankful for the love and memories we created during our eight years together. I appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate this transition.”
Meanwhile, Barnett addressed the split via his own Instagram Story.
“I regret having to post this personal update: Sami and I are no longer together; she chose to move on. I love her,” Barnett shared. “There haven’t been any issues in our relationship; it’s purely her intuition and feelings that led her to leave.”
He expressed his disagreement with the decision, saying, “I didn’t want this, and I know what I bring to the relationship and the happiness we shared.”
Although Barnett noted his reluctance to discuss the matter, he felt compelled to address it due to their public lives.
“This is truly heartbreaking,” he concluded. “I miss the person I love, and this entire situation has been incredibly sad.”
In a following Instagram Story, Barnett expressed a desire to share more work-related content, stating, “I’m shifting the focus back to the purpose of this account. It’s a great outlet for me, and I genuinely enjoy creating content. I appreciate all your love and support.”
