The casting teams of “Adolescence,” “The Studio,” and “The Last of Us” are at the forefront of nominations for the 2026 Artios Awards.
These nominations celebrate the essential role casting professionals play in television, theater, commercials, short films, and short-form series. This year sees the introduction of two additional categories: casting for International Film and casting for International Television Series.
A new category for casting in London Theatre has also been established. The winners will be revealed during events held at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, The Edison Ballroom in New York, and in London on February 26, 2026.
“We are excited to announce the nominees for the 2026 Artios Awards, which highlight the incredible talent, creativity, and commitment of our members. As storytelling evolves, casting continues to be pivotal in crafting narratives that mirror our global society. We eagerly anticipate gathering this February in various locales worldwide to celebrate the significant contributions of our casting community,” stated Destiny Lilly, President of CSA.
Netflix topped the nomination list with 15 nods, followed by Apple TV+ with nine, while HBO Max and Hulu each garnered five nominations. Prime Video secured four nominations.
Notable casting directors with multiple nominations include Lucy Bevan (“Bridget Jones Mad About The Boy,” “Disclaimer”), Nina Gold (“Bad Sisters,” “Slow Horses,” “Day of the Jackal”), and Bernard Telsey (“Only Murders In The Building,” “Monsters: The Lyle And Erik Menendez Story,” “Sh!t. Meet. Fan”).
Nominations for feature films and the London Theatre will be accepted starting November 3, with nominees being disclosed in January 2026. Award recipients for The Hoyt Bowers Award for Excellence in Casting, Lynn Stalmaster Award for Career Achievement, Marion Dougherty New York Apple Award, The Rosalie Joseph Humanitarian Award, and The Capelier-Shaw Award—also presented during the Artios ceremonies—will be announced at a later time.
