“Essentially, it’s a fantastical skin look for all,” Isamaya Ffrench remarked backstage at Thom Browne while applying shimmering Make Up For Ever powders to a model’s face. The ethereal alien-inspired theme aimed for skin to radiate “exquisite beauty” under the “silver cosmic cosmetics” layered atop a well-cared-for base. Esthetician Vinida Savant prepped the models with isClinical products (a top choice for Parisian backstage skincare this season), delivering her signature acupressure facial massage. “Everything is intertwined—your skin, organs, feelings, and the emotions you carry within—all these factors can influence your skin’s radiance and texture,” Savant explained. By targeting specific facial points, she intends to cultivate an “inner glow.”
At the Coperni show held on a circular runway at the temporarily closed Centre Pompidou, M.A.S.C. Studio’s married duo Magali and Alessandro Cirino invigorated models’ skin with isClinical’s newly launched Daily Dynamic Hydrator. When the show commenced with the poignant notes of Kate Bush’s “This Woman’s Work,” the models’ complexions shimmered, prompting editors to don sunglasses against the dazzling stage lighting.

The hair trends were effortless and dreamy, as if just styled in the moment. Olivier Schawalder’s tousled French twists for Dries Van Noten incorporated playful mini bangs, designed to give the impression that a model might have “done the cut on a whim.” This beachy updo evoked the sensation of riding a wave, quickly sweeping back hair “without a care for its appearance, simply exuding coolness,” Schawalder noted.
At Undercover’s showroom presentation, hair artist Yusuke Morioka gathered models’ hair into lofty butterfly clips, while for The Row, Guido utilized several combs to achieve intricate French twists. These creations appeared refined yet effortless, embodying a laid-back style with the whimsy that those massive combs could easily slip out during any casual moment. Meanwhile, at Chanel, Duffy styled multiple models with relaxed low chignons, which felt completely unpretentious, as if merely held in place with an elastic band.
