Both Jessica Madsen and Brett Gelman have been cast in the forthcoming Apple TV+ series titled “Wild Things,” as reported exclusively by Variety.

The eight-episode series draws its inspiration from the Apple Original Podcast, “Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy,” showcasing the remarkable story of the iconic Las Vegas entertainers. Gelman and Madsen will join previously announced lead actors Jude Law and Andrew Garfield, alongside fellow cast member Justin Theroux.

The series’ official logline describes it as “a thrilling tale of the relationship between two of history’s greatest magician-showmen, who, along with their signature white tigers, strive to transform Las Vegas into a family-friendly haven. The duo challenges the boundaries of illusion and reality on personal and professional fronts until an unfortunate event uncovers a mystery entwined with their last legendary Las Vegas performance.”

Gelman is set to portray Bernie Yuman, the dedicated manager of Siegfried and Roy, whereas Madsen will take on the role of Lynette Chappell, a longtime friend and performer in their act as the “Evil Queen.”

Madsen gained recognition for her portrayal of Cressida Cowper in Netflix’s acclaimed regency drama “Bridgerton,” and has appeared in series such as “Mr Selfridge” and “Babylon.” Her film credits include “Rambo: Last Blood” and “Leatherface.” She is set to feature next in the Viking drama “Bloodaxe” on Amazon Prime Video.

She is represented by Ethos Entertainment & United Agents.

Gelman will reprise his role as Murray Bauman in the much-anticipated fifth season of Netflix’s blockbuster series “Stranger Things,” premiering in three installments starting on November 26. He is also well-known for his performance in the popular Amazon series “Fleabag,” appearing across both seasons, and has starred in shows like “Mr. Mercedes,” “Love,” and the Apple series “Lady in the Lake,” along with films such as “The Other Guys,” “Boy Kills World,” and “Lemon.”

Gelman is repped by Entertainment 360 and CAA.

John Hoffman has developed “Wild Things” for television and will assume the roles of executive producer, showrunner, and director. Both Law and Garfield will also serve as executive producers in addition to their acting roles. Matt Shakman is attached to executive produce and direct the premiere episode. Brian Grazer will executive produce for Imagine Entertainment, working alongside executive producers Tony Leondis and Kathy Ciric. Will Malnati, who initially conceived “Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy,” will also serve as an executive producer alongside Steven Leckart, who wrote, narrated, and executive produced the podcast for At Will Media.
