Emily VanCamp demonstrates that the ultimate form of revenge is living life to the fullest!
The Revenge actress, 39, recently shared a delightful glimpse into her life as a mother by posting a rare photo of her two daughters with her husband and Revenge co-star, Josh Bowman, on Wednesday, October 8, while enjoying a day at the beach.
The Instagram photo features VanCamp in a stylish black bathing suit and a sun hat as she walks hand in hand with her daughters along the shore.
“Those tiny hands and our feet in the sand⊠nothing better ☀️✨💛,” she captioned the joyful moment.
“My Girls ❤️🙏🏼,” Bowman, 37, affectionately commented on the touching post through his production company March Forth Mediaâs official Instagram account.
The romance between VanCamp and Bowman ignited back in 2011 on the set of ABCâs acclaimed series Revenge. VanCamp portrayed Emily Thorne, a young woman infiltrating the affluent communities of the Hamptons to exact revenge on those who wronged her father two decades before. In the show, she wedded the wealthy playboy Daniel Grayson, who was played by her real-life partner, whom she married in the third season.
As their on-screen connection flourished, so did their off-screen romance; VanCamp and Bowman started dating in late 2011. They exchanged vows in December 2018 in the Bahamas.
“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in our celebration! We are forever grateful. And to @lelarose and your wonderful team for crafting my dream wedding dress⊠Thank you a million times over 💕💕💕,” she shared in an Instagram update from their special day.
In December 2023, VanCamp expressed her joy on their five-year wedding anniversary with an Instagram post featuring a romantic kiss with Bowman. “5 wonderful years married and 12 years together ❤️ Itâs been a thrilling journey. I cherish the life weâve built, our exciting adventures, and most importantly, the beautiful family we’ve created. Happy Anniversary, my love ✨✨✨! Excited for what lies ahead!! @march_forth_media,” she wrote.
The star of The Resident welcomed her first daughter, Iris, in August 2021 and soon left the Fox medical drama thereafter.
“For so many years, I was consumed by network television, but then everything shifted for me,” she revealed to Deadline in October 2021. “There comes a time in everyoneâs life â especially womenâs â when work feels less important than family, and that’s precisely what happened while I was filming. Doing so many episodes in a different city, and adding COVID to that mix, made it impossible for many of us to see our loved ones for close to a year. It truly cemented for me that family is my priority right now.”
VanCamp and Bowman welcomed their second daughter, Rio Rose, in March 2024. “Welcome to the world, baby girl. We love you so much,” the actress shared in an announcement on Instagram.
In May 2024, VanCamp celebrated her 38th birthday, which happened to fall on Motherâs Day, with a touching Instagram post featuring sweet moments hugging both Iris and baby Rio Rose. She shared, “38✨ And Mamaâs Day all wrapped into one. Filled with gratitude today and every day. Thank you for all the birthday love and wishing everyone a wonderful Motherâs Day!!”
