Joe Exotic Opens Up About Life in Prison and Health Struggles

The Tiger King star, Joe Exotic, 61, is currently serving a 21-year prison sentence after being convicted in a murder-for-hire plot targeting his rival zookeeper, Carole Baskin.

In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Joe shared insights into his life behind bars and the challenges he faces. He admitted that “trying to stay alive” in prison is a constant struggle.

In 2021, Joe was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which he initially believed to be in remission. However, he recently received devastating news about a potential lung cancer diagnosis. Following a series of medical tests including chest x-rays, CT scans, and a PET scan, doctors discovered spots in his left lung.

Despite the health setbacks, Joe remains resilient and determined to fight for his health. He expressed gratitude for the support he has received from fans and well-wishers during this difficult time.

While serving his sentence, Joe continues to maintain his innocence in the murder-for-hire case and hopes for a chance to prove his innocence and seek justice.

As Joe Exotic navigates his health struggles and legal battles, he remains a controversial figure in the world of big cats and zookeeping.
