He’s a true Monstera enthusiast.

A man caught cheating had his plant clippings unceremoniously left on a curb in the Upper West Side this week after his partner found out about his affairs, leading to a note that quickly went viral.

The discarded plants were abandoned on West 83rd Street near Broadway, alongside a hand-written note that revealed the man’s infidelities.

“Please take these cuttings. They are the last of my cheating husband’s plants. The apartment is now mine and these aren’t,” read the note, meticulously underlining the last three words.

“I felt guilty throwing them away because I would never do that to anyone… at least not to the plants.”

A photo of the note alongside the well-cared-for plants was posted by The West Side Rag on Monday, quickly amassing over 37,000 views.

The abandoned greenery was quickly claimed by a neighbor who sympathized with their plight, though it remains unclear whether the same care will be afforded to the unfaithful owner.

The alleged cheater had expressed a desire to share his perspective with The Post this week, but ultimately backed out of the interview due to concerns about potential legal consequences.

He revealed that the couple is in the process of divorce.

The ex-partner could not be contacted for her side of the story.

Neighbors appeared to have more empathy for the forsaken plants, with numerous users expressing their thoughts in the comments on the trending post.

“It’s always the plants that suffer,” commented one user.

“I love plants that come with a story,” said another commenter.

One person remarked that the ill-fated ex might be trapped among the leaves, stating: “I would never bring such cursed items into my peaceful home.”

Though not confirmed, the plants appeared to be monstera and elephant ear varieties, both of which can fetch a high price for even a small cutting.

The two types belong to the Araceae family and are known to be toxic, but only harmful if consumed by pets.

It seems the jilted partner kept track of the planters, as the plants were left in plastic bags on the sidewalk.
