Marvel Animation has officially confirmed that the second season of “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” is set to debut on Disney+ in the fall of 2026. This exciting announcement was made during New York Comic Con, where a trailer was previewed for attendees. The trailer highlighted that Season 2 will feature the introduction of the Venom symbiote, the character Gwen Stacy, and the return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil.
Hudson Thames lends his voice to Peter Parker in “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” which first premiered on Disney+ in early 2025. This animated series exists within a different universe that is distinct from Tom Holland’s portrayal of Spider-Man within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, showcasing a variety of notable differences between the two interpretations of the iconic hero.
Whereas Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark acted as a mentor to Peter Parker, “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” replaces him with Norman Osborn, voiced by Colman Domingo, who is better known as the Green Goblin from previous films and comics. In this series, Norman serves as the CEO of Oscorp, offering internships to Peter and his friends while harboring questionable intentions.
In a twist on the familiar narrative, Peter’s companions are now influencer Harry Osborn (voiced by Zeno Robinson) and Nico Minoru (portrayed by Grace Song), who has a secret background in witchcraft. The voice cast also features Eugene Byrd as a younger version of the classic Spider-Man antagonist Tombstone, Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius, MCU favorite Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Kari Wahlgren as Aunt May, Aleks Le as Amadeus Cho, and Jonathan Medina as the menacing Scorpion.
The conclusion of Season 1 of “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” left viewers with several unanswered questions. Doctor Strange (voiced by Robert Atkin Downes) assisted Spidey in combating the Venom symbiote that arrived from another universe, while it was unveiled that Norman Osborn had retained a fragment of the symbiote for his own experiments. In a shocking revelation, it was also disclosed that Peter’s father, Richard, who was long presumed dead, is actually alive but incarcerated.
