Production houses based in Dubai, Front Row Filmed Entertainment and Different Productions, renowned for Netflix’s “Dubai Bling,” have partnered with Lebanese fashion influencer and model Nour Arida alongside the creative marketing agency Read the Room to introduce a fresh reality series targeting the Middle Eastern audience entitled “Confidence Is Queen.”
This innovative program is set to debut at the Mipcom TV market in Cannes, where Arida will gather a select group of prominent female mentors to support a chosen group of Arab women navigating an emotional and entertaining journey filled with challenges, joy, and personal growth. “Confidence Is Queen” aspires to do more than entertain; it aims to ignite a movement of confidence, showcasing how sisterhood can inspire, uplift, and reconstruct lives from within.
Hailing from the U.S. but raised in Beirut, Arida boasts a social media presence with over 18 million followers across various platforms. She has made history as one of the first Arab women to represent leading international brands, including the luxury Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet.
Through this TV series, Arida intends to amplify her commitment to women’s empowerment, addressing critical issues surrounding confidence and self-worth that women in the region and beyond face, as highlighted in the announcement.
“This show possesses the potential to be groundbreaking on multiple fronts, and I am thrilled with my collaborators. Together with Front Row, Different Productions, and Read the Room, we aim to deliver a truly innovative, engaging, and creative project,” expressed Arida.
“Confidence Is Queen” represents Front Row’s entry into the realm of reality television. Under the leadership of Gianluca Chakra, the distribution company has increasingly ventured into production, achieving success with projects such as Netflix’s first Arab original feature film, “Perfect Strangers,” a remake of the celebrated Italian film that topped charts across the MENA region and reached the No. 3 spot globally alongside the psychological thriller “The Sand Castle,” which debuted in 2025 and also claimed the No. 3 spot on Netflix’s international rankings.
Read the Room is an independent creative advertising firm founded by five women, including Natasha Romariz Maasri, a former executive at Leo Burnett Middle East. With rich expertise from global advertising agencies in cities like Beirut, Dubai, New York, Montreal, and Rio de Janeiro, the founders have garnered acclaim for their impactful campaigns advocating for women’s rights in the Middle East, securing numerous industry awards including several Cannes Lions.
The “Confidence Is Queen” project is co-produced with Different Productions, the team behind acclaimed shows such as Netflix’s “Dubai Bling,” “Shark Tank Dubai,” and the intimate portrait of Lebanese icon Elissa in “It’s OK.” “Dubai Bling” has achieved both local and global popularity, hitting the No. 2 spot worldwide on Netflix.
Alongside promoting the show, Read the Room and Arida will collaborate in further development to ensure it resonates with audiences both locally and globally.
“Confidence Is Queen” transcends mere entertainment; it is a declaration. The collaboration between Front Row and Different Productions emerged organically, combining impactful cinema with universally engaging reality storytelling. Together, we are fusing cinematic artistry with genuine authenticity to craft something powerful, relatable, and real,” emphasized Gianluca Chakra of Front Row and Mazen Laham from Different Productions in a joint statement.
“At its essence is Nour Arida, a woman who embodies grace, vulnerability, and bold confidence. She symbolizes a new era of Arab women who embrace their strength and imperfections. This authenticity is what transforms our project into something not only entertaining but profoundly human and inspiring,” they concluded.
