Donald Trump speaking at a podium in front of Israeli flags during a formal address.

In a surprising address while the nation was still waking up on Monday, President Donald Trump spoke at The Knesset in Jerusalem, Israel.

The President’s visit followed his role in brokering a groundbreaking peace agreement between Hamas and Israel, an endeavor that had the political world buzzing.

In a rather unexpected twist, Trump urged the President of Israel to consider granting a ā€œPARDONā€ to Prime Minister Netanyahu during his remarks.

President Trump:  This man is a good man right here. These two men are good men right here.

Hey, I have a suggestion. Mr. President, why not give him a pardon? Give him a pardon. (huge applause – standing ovation)

This remark wasn’t part of the official script, as you might have guessed. But I genuinely like this gentleman over here, and it just sounds sensible.

Like it or not, this has to be recognized: one of the most significant wartime presidencies is happening right here.

And cigars and champagne? Who’s bothered about that?

BREAKING: President Trump ON THE SPOT asks the President of Israel to grant Benjamin Netanyahu ā€œa PARDON.ā€

The Knesset responds with a standing ovation.

ā€œThat was NOT in the speech! But I happen to like him, and it just makes so much sense. One of the greatest wartime [leaders]… pic.twitter.com/EgdBx2RtEj

This isn’t the first time Trump has weighed in on what he perceives as the left’s relentless pursuit of Prime Minister Netanyahu.

As reported by Jim Hoft of The Gateway Pundit in June, Trump reacted angrily after learning that Netanyahu had been summoned for a court appearance regarding an ongoing legal battle.

What intensified the situation was that this court announcement followed closely—merely 48 hours—after a ceasefire agreement was established between Iran and Israel. Evidently, the leftists critical of Netanyahu didn’t hesitate to strike while the iron was hot, even as the prime minister was reeling from significant diplomatic maneuvers.

Trump pointed out that this trial marks a historical first: the sitting Israeli Prime Minister facing court, with accusations stemming from absurdities involving cigars and a Bugs Bunny doll.

Trump’s ire extended to demanding either an immediate cessation of the trial or the granting of a pardon to Netanyahu. Of course, he hinted at what consequences might ensue if this so-called “justice” persisted.

Later, in a statement shared on Truth Social, Trump suggested that refusal to abandon these trivial legal pursuits could result in the withdrawal of U.S. foreign aid to Israel.

It’s appalling what they are doing to Bibi Netanyahu in Israel. He is a War Hero, a Prime Minister who executed a superb partnership with the United States to mitigate the nuclear menace posed by Iran. Significantly, he’s right now engaged in negotiations with Hamas, aiming to ensure the safe return of hostages.

How is it conceivable that the Israel’s Prime Minister is facing court proceedings over trivial matters (Cigars, Bugs Bunny Doll, etc.)? It’s a POLITICAL WITCH HUNT, reminiscent of the Witch Hunt I underwent. This travesty of so-called ā€œJusticeā€ will only interfere with vital negotiations involving Iran and Hamas. Frankly, the actions of these out-of-control prosecutors regarding Bibi Netanyahu are INSANE.

The United States allocates billions annually, more than any other nation, to support and protect Israel. This will not be tolerated. We recently triumphed with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu leading the charge — And this drama significantly undermines our achievement. LET BIBI GO, HE’S GOT A HUGE RESPONSIBILITY AHEAD!

Currently, the U.S. provides approximately $4 billion in military assistance to Israel, making it one of the most significant recipients of American aid worldwide.

Trump continued to address this contentious issue during his speech at The Knesset.

These corrupt leftists are employing lawfare tactics to dismantle opposition in countries such as the U.S., Brazil, Israel, South Korea, and beyond. It’s time for this to change.
