Ghislaine Maxwell Creates Waves at the ‘Fed Club’.

As previously reported, after spending two arduous days with Deputy AG Todd Blanche, convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell was moved from the notoriously harsh FCI Tallahassee in Florida to the relatively cushy Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas.

Today, new insights emerge from a Wall Street Journal article (behind a paywall) regarding the impact of Jeffrey Epstein’s associate within the prison confines.

Reports indicate that her unanticipated presence at the ‘Fed Club’ has significantly disrupted the routines of other inmates, with allegations of providing her preferential treatment.

The Independent noted:

“Maxwell’s arrival at Bryan Federal Prison Camp, a low-security facility known for its more lenient atmosphere, has notably altered the daily operations for her fellow inmates, according to the Wall Street Journal.”

“For instance, during a weekend in mid-August, shortly after her arrival, inmates were confined indoors during their usual outdoor time so Maxwell could receive several visitors in the prison chapel, as informed sources revealed to the WSJ.”

The fallout from Maxwell’s arrival has led to “increased lockdowns, greater numbers of armed guards, and various adjustments within the prison’s protocols.”

Inmates have voiced their grievances, claiming she enjoys superior treatment compared to others.

“Typically, the Bureau of Prisons does not allow sex offenders to serve time in such low-security facilities, although exceptions can be made through special waivers. Maxwell, sentenced to 20 years in 2022, currently holds the fourth-longest remaining sentence among the prison’s 600 inmates.”

“Details about her chapel visitors remain unclear, yet whispers among fellow inmates suggest the lockdown may have been orchestrated for significant guests,” the report concluded.
