Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are enthusiastically preparing for their wedding following their engagement announcement.
“They hosted an intimate gathering with close friends and family, revealing their engagement and their plans to marry,” a source disclosed to Us Weekly. “A wedding is definitely in the works.”
“They are keen on keeping it low-key,” the source added.
The source further noted that the couple intends to keep their celebration small, inviting no more than 100 attendees.
While a specific wedding date has not been disclosed, Robach, 52, and Holmes, 48, are eyeing 2026 for their nuptials. There are also discussions regarding making it a destination wedding.
“Their focus will be on expressing their love and vows,” the source noted. “They plan on inviting their ex-partners as well.” (Us has reached out to representatives of both Robach and Holmes for a statement.)
The news of the previously married GMA3 cohosts’ romance came to light in late 2022 while both were married—Robach to Andrew Shue and Holmes to Marilee Fiebig.
In an unexpected twist, it was later confirmed to Us that Shue and Fiebig were also in a relationship. In February, they took a significant step by moving in together.

“They share a deep love for one another,” the insider shared at that time. “This isn’t about revenge. It’s authentic.”
Their excitement for the future appears to be genuine as well. Before getting engaged, the couple worked on building a modern, blended family from their children from previous marriages.
Robach has daughters Ava and Annalise with her ex-husband, Tim McIntosh. On the other hand, Holmes is a father to Brianna and Jaiden from his first marriage to Amy Ferson, as well as daughter Sabine with Fiebig.
“Their children are thrilled and supportive of their engagement,” the source noted. “[T.J. and Amy] envision a life together and consider each other their forever partners. They are serious about marriage and want to affirm their commitment with family and friends present.”

Although Robach previously wore a promise ring at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards in March, she confirmed on the October 14 episode of the iHeartRadio podcast “Amy and T.J.” that she became engaged one month prior.
An insider revealed that Holmes is currently designing a bespoke wedding ring for his fiancée.
In June, a source had previously shared with Us that an engagement was imminent and had been planned for some time. The insider even speculated that they would announce it via their podcast when the moment was right.
Regarding their choice to delay the public announcement, Holmes mentioned that they preferred to keep their engagement private for a short while, only sharing it with a select few.
“We may share further details about our engagement, but we have spent the last month celebrating with family,” Holmes explained. “We wanted to inform you all before anyone else knew. We’ve learned from past experiences about our relationship.”
Robach mentioned, “We have included our families and a select group of close friends. We are sharing details with a very small circle, and only a few people are aware of what transpired.”
One compliment that has made Robach smile is her friends and family noting how happy she seems at this new stage in her life.
“I’m just so thrilled, and I think it’s the most wonderful thing that people noticed my joy more than my ring,” she reminisced. “That was heartwarming to hear.”
