Massachusetts Woman Arrested for Threatening Federal Agents During Immigration Arrest
Bethany Abigail Terrill, 37, from Malden, Massachusetts, has been taken into custody for allegedly issuing death threats to federal agents involved in an immigration arrest right outside a courthouse—amplifying her sentiments with fervor.
According to reports, Terrill shouted menacing threats at officers, even making incendiary remarks about the assassination of conservative figure Charlie Kirk as she attempted to intervene physically in the arrest process.
This dramatic encounter was captured on the body cameras of the responding officers.
In a press release issued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, they outlined how:
It is claimed that Terrill placed herself in the midst of the agents engaged in an arrest, where she was verbally confrontational, physically intrusive, and ultimately made threatening statements directed at the federal officers present.
More specifically, Terrill is accused of approaching the agents while yelling and pushing through their ranks in an attempt to film the scene on her smartphone. Allegations detail her chants of “ICE is here, ICE is here,” alongside labels like “monsters” aimed at the agents, and attempts to ascertain their names, all while pushing her way into their space.
Identifiable by badges and agency insignias, the agents repeatedly instructed Terrill to “back up.” However, she allegedly ignored their requests, escalating to openly defying their commands. The officers forewarned her that arrest was imminent if she continued to disregard their orders to maintain appropriate distance during the arrest.
Despite numerous warnings to de-escalate, Terrill intensified her threats.
“Charlie Kirk died, and we love it… We’re coming for you, gonna kill you,” she screamed.

Terrill now faces charges of threatening a United States official, a serious felony that could lead to a sentence of up to 10 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a hefty fine of $250,000. The prosecution will be handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney Luke A. Goldworm from the Major Crimes Unit, alongside the FBI Boston Division and ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations.

DHS has condemned this escalation of threats and doxxing, highlighting how misinformation and activist agitation are placing officers at greater risk in their line of duty.
