Fan Fired Following ‘Call ICE’ Comment

A fan of the Milwaukee Brewers who jokingly stated she would “call ICE” on a Latino supporter of the Dodgers during a recent playoff game has reportedly been terminated from her job.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported on Wednesday that Shannon Kobylarczyk was let go by her employer, Manpower Group, after being filmed making the comment to Ricardo Fosado during Game 2 of the NLCS at American Family Field.

Additionally, Kobylarczyk has stepped down from her position on the Make-A-Wish Wisconsin board following the incident.
This incident became viral in the seventh inning as the Dodgers were leading the Brewers 4-1.
In a recorded video, Fosado can be heard asking surrounding Milwaukee fans why they were silent. Kobylarczyk then interrupts, questioning why he was drinking a cocktail instead of beer, before she shouted to a man in front of her, “You know what? Let’s call ICE.”

Fosado informed Kobylarczyk that he was a U.S. citizen and a war veteran.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, Fosado revealed that he was ejected from the stadium, not Kobylarczyk. He remarked that apart from that experience, he enjoyed the game and found everyone else to be friendly.
Kobylarczyk has yet to publicly address the incident.
As the series stands, the Dodgers lead the Brewers 2-0, but Fosado expressed his willingness to attend another game in Milwaukee, viewing this as an “isolated incident.”
